AB defends team after loss

We fought back really well and tried really hard so I'm proud of the way we bounced back. It shows we're a strong, resilient team and we'll go to Benoni, for the last match, with a lot of confidence and I know we can pull it through.
De Villiers denied there was anything wrong with the selections though, saying all the players deserved their spots despite Morne Morkel being left on the bench when his experience could have made a difference. The Proteas found themselves two down after just two balls, thanks to Mohammad Irfan's double strike, but managed to put together a score of 234 for nine thanks to De Villiers and David Miller's efforts. Pakistan reached the score with eight balls to spare. The wicketkeeper said: "We both played really well and did a massive job for the team. We got us back into the game and to help set a decent total. De Villiers said if the side's composition: We got close to winning in the end, so there is nothing wrong with the balance of our team or with our squad. We're a highly talented team which has been playing some good cricket, against a very goodPakistan team, so the decider will be an exciting clash between two very good teams. As for Pakistan, their innings was anchored by a solid 93 from Imran Farhat, and skipper Misbah-ul-Haq, who made 80 himself, was quick to credit his colleague's persistence on the tricky deck
