Misbah turns down

Misbah said he has discussed this with all his players and they all agreed that overall they all needed to be more positive while batting and put aside fears of losing our wicket.Misbah added he has heard what the critics have had to say, adding it has fired him up and also made him reassess how he can play a more purposeful role for his team as a batsman and for himself. Misbah added they have all pushed him to play more shots and be more positive, adding he has no intentions of returning to play T20s for Pakistan and he has changed his batting style because he believes he can continue to play ODIs which he doesn’t want to quit now.Islamabad: Under pressure Pakistani captain Misbahul Haq has turned down calls to quit one-day cricket, insisting from now on he would be batting with a much more positive intent in the fifty-over format after getting the stick for batting slowly in limited over cricket. The 38-year old, who has been Pakistan’s test captain since 2010 and ODI skipper since 2011, has come in for criticism in Pakistan for his batting and captaincy after his side were swamped 3-0 in the test series in South Africa and lost the one-day series 3-2.
