The Wisden Almanack has been handing out Cricketer of the Year awards to five players, for their 'influence on the previous English season,' since 1889. Herewith the five players who won the gong, going back to 2000. Keep in mind that a player can win the award only once in his/her lifetime.This year, three South Africans, a former South African and a West Indian cracked the nod.
