Rain ruins second day's

Jim Allenby was the pick of the Glamorgan attack, trapping Rob Newton and inducing skipper Stephen Peters to edge a ball to second slip.Only 17.1 overs' play were possible before play was abandoned after tea, with Northants having progressed to 145-5  a lead of 11.With only 90.5 overs completed in the first two days and unsettled weather forecast for the remaining couple of days, a draw appears the likely outcome.Resuming on 108-3, in response to Glamorgan's first-day 134, Rob Newton was trapped lbw for 39.
