Hyderabad too have their own set of problems. Their batting is vulnerable; there is not a single player who could instill fear in the opposition bowlers. It's high time that captain Kumar Sangakkara did something about it. Having said that, Hyderabad will take a lot of heart from the batting performance of Hanuma Vihari whose unbeaten 44 on Sunday ensured the match went into Super Over.Virat Kohli's men must have got their lessons; however, their biggest problem is their over-dependence on Caribbean blaster Chris Gayle. Gayle, who scored 92 not out against Mumbai, fell cheaply on Sunday and so fell the morale of the team. Kohli and Moises Henriques did their best with decent scores but they were not imposing and the team could only post 130 for 8. Hyderabad's bowling, however, makes up for their sub-standard batting. The presence of Dale Steyn, the world's best fast bowler by a mile, makes them serious contenders. Despite their two wins in two matches, one has to say that they once again go in as underdogs, but there will be little surprise if they came up with a repeat of their performance on Sunday. Playing at home on Sunday, Hyderabad got the better of Bangalore in a Super Over thriller thanks to Cameron White's heroics with the bat. In their first match on April 5, they had beaten Pune Warriors India after Amit Mishra, Thisara Perera and Dale Steyn led from the front to defend a modest total of 126. Bangalore, who beat Mumbai Indians in their opener on April 4, were stunned by a team many think is one of the weakest in the nine-team tournament. Thus, Hyderabad's win once again brought to light the fact that there are no clear favourites in the format.
