Injured Shikhar Dhawan out for two weeks of IPL

Shikhar Dhawan
Injured swashbuckling opener will miss the first couple of weeks of IPL action, his Sunrises Hyderabad coach Tom Moody said on Tuesday.

Assuming Dhawan is not able to play even for the first two weeks of the IPL, beginning Wednesday, he
Left-handed Dhawan, 27, fractured a finger in his left-hand while fielding during the Mohali Test against Australia last month, having hit a superb 187 for the fastest century by a debutant. He, however, missed the fourth and final match in Delhi.
It's out of our control. He needs to go through the normal rehab process and he's going through that at the BCCI's National Cricket Academy in Bangalore," Moody told Mail Today.

"We are anticipating that he will miss probably the first couple of weeks, and we will then have his services beyond that."
