Daredevils may miss Sehwag in IPL opener

 Kolkata:  Already missing a few key players due to injuries,lost star batsmen Kevin Pietersen and Jesse Ryder to injuries,Delhi Daredevils may suffer another setback as explosive batsman Virender Sehwag is a doubtful starter for Wednesday's IPL opener against Kolkata Knight Riders due to a back problem.

 Sehwag is down with back spasm and is yet to arrive in the city. He is likely to come today and if and when he comes, we will take a call on playing him for Wednesday’s game,” coach Eric Simons told the media after a practice session at the Eden Gardens here Tuesday.He is having back spasm. We have no idea when he's joining the side the side. We will take a call after he's here," coach Eric Simons said hinting that the team is prepared to play without the swashbuckling opener.

The team will also miss out on last season's Purple cap holder Morne Morkel for the first game. The tall speedster bowled Titans to a semis place in South Africa's domestic cricket T20 Challenge.
