Kings XI put in, Gilchrist back

Rajasthan Royals sent Kings XI Punjab in to bat, with Rahul Dravid saying the Mohali pitch tended to get better for batting late in the afternoon. The returning Kings XI captain Adam Gilchrist said he was unconcerned about the toss result, believing the surface to be a "50-50 pitch".Kings XI were sixth in the points table, and needed a win to stay close to the top four, while Royals attempted to move up from their No. 3 spot in what is their fourth game in seven days.Gilchrist returned for Kings XI after having dropped himself for the last three matches, with Gurkeerat Singh making way. Allrounder Bipul Sharma found a place in the XI for the first time in the tournament, at the expense of Michael Neser. Royals rung in four changes, despite a dominant victory in the last match. Sreesanth returned to the side, as did Kevon Cooper, with Shaun Tait making way, while legspinner Pravin Tambe was replaced by Ajit Chandila.
