Prior's efforts

Prior took five catches in the innings, three to Finn, and the paceman got six wickets for 125 runs in the end as the Kiwis were all out for 443. Two of those catches were diving efforts, and Finn was happy to credit the stalwart. While Finn enjoyed a successful day, England were in a bit of bother at stumps, having lost two wickets to Trent Boult and still trailing by 393 runs. But Finn said they needed to make sure they stayed focused. The paceman said of his keeper: "It's nice to know that he can leap like a salmon down the leg side and catch a couple of those ones... he's up there with the best wicketkeeper-batsmen in the world, if not the best.Meanwhile, New Zealand's Kane Williamson, who made 91 on day two, felt the Black Caps were in a good position to capitalise, and said day three would be good for both their pace and spin bowlers. It is great to have him to feed off because he is so energetic between the overs making sure that we're formulating plans and bowling to plans. He is integral to us as a team.
