There was much drama in those 13 deliveries, though. Or rather, before them. The Australian team and the two Indian batsmen, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ishant Sharma, got into a mini altercation on who should go onto the field first. Ishant Sharma, in particular, didn't look too pleased with all that. The task facing him wasn't a pleasing one either, to face Lyon on a raging turner. It took Australia 13 deliveries on the third morning to take the two remaining India wickets and keep the deficit down to 10. Nathan Lyon removed Ishant Sharma and Pragyan Ojha off successive deliveries to finish with a career-best 7 for 94. Ishant played out the five balls of that over, eking out two leg-byes. Bhuvneshwar drove Glenn Maxwell for four off the first ball of the next over, but that was to be the last addition to India's total. The first ball of the next over went through the gap between Ishant's bat and pad, and the next trapped Pragyan Ojha on the back foot and in front of leg. Lyon will be on a hat-trick in the final innings of the match.
