Pakistan have not lost any further wicket and the two experienced batsmen are leading the way. Malik has struck a beautiful boundary and a big six in his innings so far. Runs have not been very difficult to come by.
Pakistan have lost two quick wickets here. Kamran Akmal was the first to go, caught by McLaren, off a top edge to an attempted sweep. Akmal’s wicket was followed by Younis Khan, caught at mid-wicket. South Africa’s brilliance in the field is evident in these two catches. Pakistan will have to start all over again.
Pakistan have lost too many wickets all too quickly and now find themselves in a very bad position. Lack of good partnerships has been their main concern, South African bowlers have been very accurate making it very difficult for the batsmen to get runs
